Before owner Art Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore a quarter-century ago, the Browns played in old Cleveland Municipal Stadium (which was actually designed and built to attract the Olympics). At the open end of the Stadium -- where the baseball bleachers were located -- were the cheapest seats available for a Browns game. Usually overflowing with loud, obnoxious, and seriously drunken spectators, it evolved into a home-field advantage as the noise level made it difficult for the road team to hear their quarterback's signals. This area ultimately became the place to be. Someone began barking and throwing dog biscuits on the field; it caught on and the bleacher area became known as the Dawg Pound. When the Browns returned in 1999, the new owners tried to maintain the tradition, but the new stadium just didn't exude the same charisma (in other words, it was too nice).

Anyway, Emerson produced this nice 3'x5' flag which epitomized the spirit of the old Dawg Pound. It's a very nice silk polyester flag, with their "Poly-Tuf" header and o-rings. It's surprisingly durable, as we see some of the old versions still flying in the area during football season from time to time. A wonderful gift for anyone who attended games in the Dawg Pound (if there are even any survivors) ...

Thanks for dropping by and visiting. We at Jeff’s Vintage Treasure appreciate the opportunity to serve you!  Keep in mind that while others may offer you vintage style or so-called “throwback” items, we offer the real thing! These items were actually made back in the day. That’s why you’ll be unlikely to find anything identical to what we offer – at least, not in the new, pristine condition found with our merchandise. Our goal is to provide a quality, often hard-to-find product and service at a reasonable price, and our customer feedback reflects that. Should you have any questions, we invite you to contact us and we’ll do our best to answer them ASAP. Again, our thanks…

Also, if you haven’t done so already, we urge you to take a moment and check out www.JeffsTreasureChest.com for non-vintage, (a.k.a. “newer” items). You’ll be glad you did!

WHAT SEPARATES US FROM THE REST OF THE PACK?

A good percentage of our products are what is often referred to as "New Old Stock" (NOS) which essentially means that while it may have been manufactured decades ago, it has never been opened and/or removed from the original packaging (except for photos in some instances).

We try to take as many photos of our products as practical, as it is our stance that you should know exactly what you are buying. We do not use "stock" photos for collectibles as the condition (new or used) will vary from one piece to the next, particularly in the packaging, which is very important to collectors. The only exception to that is new clothing, in which each piece is identical. So, what's the bottom line?

A handful of good pictures help describe a product far more accurately than a page full of (often-times embellished) descriptors.

A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

We keep our inventory in a clean, humidity-controlled, smoke-free environment. We also do our best to remove any peripheral odor from incoming collectibles prior to making it available for sale.

SHIPPING

Our goal is to always try and ship within 24 hours, which is normally not a problem. Keep in mind that orders placed late Friday or over the weekend may not ship until the following Monday! Holidays and nasty weather can also impact negatively upon your delivery time. Lastly, keep in mind that once the carrier has the item, we no longer control your order's destiny!

WEWANT YOU TO BE HAPPY WITH US!

Of course, that's a given, right? No one stays in business very long with an unhappy customer base. Understand that with the nature of our business -- vintage collectibles -- we don't normally accept returns. We take a lot of photos of our products to protect us as well as our customers. That being said, stuff happens, and if some "stuff" happened to you we want to hear about it.

We buy products online too, and if we receive something that's not as was described, we also want it fixed, so we understand how things can go wrong on occasion. Contact us, and we'll figure it out. Fair enough?
